This half term we are learning hockey skills. We have been practicing passing the ball between partners, and some dribbling and control skills passing the ball through cones. The children are really enjoying learning a new game and new skills and seem to have a flair for it. Here are a few photos of what they have been doing.

I don't like science because we had to learn about rocks and I found it a bit boring. I love feel good Fridays we get to wear sporty clothes and I feel comfortable. ER - My favourite lesson is History because I like learning all about people I don't know about in the past. I like quiet reading time, I like that it is quiet and I can concentrate. My favourite grown up in school is Miss Hodgson because she is always so happy and really helpful and helped me a lot. I have good friends at school, Eva, Holly and Millie make me happy in school, we have friend handshakes. Another world book day is here and wow the children in team AC have dressed up as some fantastic book characters. Today we have had classes swapping to read with each other Team AC enjoyed reading with Team AF. We have had a book swap with Miss McGinnes reading 'Tiddler' to the children. We've read lots of lovely books today. Each child had the opportunity to explain their character and the book it was from. We had a special assembly at the end of the day to look at all things 'world book day' celebrate books and see the winning costume in each class. Our class winner was Georgie with her amazing crayon outfit! Well done Georgie and a huge well done to everyone in Team AC it's wonderful to see so many fabulous costumes. Last week we dressed up for History day and learnt all about the people we were dressed as. It was a very interesting day and I think we all learnt a lot a lot about people in history that we might not have heard of before. The children looked amazing too, well done to everyone for getting involved. |
