She shared with the children possible careers that they could consider if they love learning languages. She also asked the children what they thought was working well and how Spanish could be improved in school.

During the course of the day all the children were invited to part in a Spanish dance workshop and the KS2 children had a language teacher visit their lessons to help them learn particular phrases or words.
Lots of different activities were enjoyed during the day including singing, tasting Spanish food and even playing Spain's national sport, football!

Year 2/3 and 3
Learning the names of familiar fruits and vegetables. How to say if they like them or not and how to ask for them at the shops.

Year 4 and 5
To learn the words to describe the weather and to work towards performing a basic weather forecast.
To learn the words for various items of clothing and to be able to describe clothes and say what they would wear in different weather conditions.

Year 6
To learn the vocabulary for the school subjects they study and to say which lessons they like or dislike. To say when they have certain lessons.
