The Arts Council met today and have made the following decisions.
- The Council will be running a Christmas poster competition. All children are invited to enter a Christmas poster. Arts Council will be  delivering instructions for each class and Mrs Longden will be sending a letter out to grown ups.
- The Arts Council will be running a Christmas assembly. The assembly will be an opportunity for pupils to perform or show arts work. We would ask that any drama, dance, arts, music or poetry be based on a Christmas or Winter Theme. Exciting stuff!!!

Huge thanks from Roman, Leo, Maisie-Jo, Lola, Jaxon, Mia, Maia and Millie (The Arts Council) to pupils and staff for completing the class Arts survey. We have been thrilled to find out about all the exciting arts activities you have been up to. We are still going to plan some dance ideas. Watch this space for news of the Christmas Arts Competition.

The Arts Council have decided to have a fortnight to focus on dance. We have created a questionnaire for classes. What dance have you been working on recently in class?  What do you enjoy about dance? How could we make dance at Park Street even better? Just some of the questions we will be looking to answer. Watch this space for a summary of findings.

Just a quick reminder to all you budding artists out there. The pupil arts council will be running an art competition based on the theme of Autumn. All pupils are welcome to take part. A lucky winner will be chosen from EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The winners will receive a pack of arty goodies. The winners will be chosen by Mrs Longden and the Arts Council members. Good luck and get arty!

A warm welcome to the new member of the Arts Council who were voted for by their classmates. It was wonderful to see you all collecting your badges in  front of parents at the special jobs assembly.
