Our computing focus for this half term is linked to branching databases. The children have worked hard over the last few weeks to explore different types of questions, including open and closed questions and the difference between them. We have then moved on this week to looking at how to use a branching database to physically sort information based on attributes. This was a challenging concept for the class, so next week we will continue this further, using online software to demonstrate this and provide further opportunity for the children to understand how the database works.
