DT in Team CW

Team CW have been busy in our creative area the past few weeks and have been building on skills we learnt at home and at nursery. We have been learning to connect materials together by using glue and tape, and some of us have been learning to connect using split pins to make parts of our models move. We are beginning to decorate what we make and add detail and some of us have made some fantastic fire engines with windows, lights and even a ladder!
 
An important part of building is changing what we do if something doesn’t work or if we have even better ideas! We have been learning to be resilient and keep trying and then try something else if our plan doesn’t work. We can also talk about our design and are beginning to explain what our models can do and how we made them.
