Today the Eco Reps took part in the Big School's Birdwatch for the RSPB. We went down to our nature area where the bird feeders we made yesterday were placed. We stayed about 30 minutes and saw lots of Wood Pigeons, a few Carrion Crows, some Magpies and we were lucky enough to see a robin! We did see some smaller birds sitting in the top of the trees but couldn't identify them.
We are going to send our results to the RSPB so they can collate the observations from lots of schools and see which birds are thriving and which birds are in decline or in crisis. Wood Pigeons are definitely thriving at Park Street!
