Some of the KS2 Eco Reps have taken part in the Great British Spring Clean today. It was led by Andrea Walker, the Environmental Project Officer for the South Area Team. The Eco Reps were joined by two Wombwell Ward Councillors and also by Community Police Officer Kyle Rance who all helped with the litter pick.
The Eco Reps helped clear our school drive of litter and we were pleasantly surprised to see much less litter within the school grounds compared to previous years. The reps picked litter along Park Street and the neighbouring housing estate and in total collected 18 bags of litter! What an amazing difference they made to our community! Thank you Eco Reps!
