Team CW's Welly Walk!

Earlier this week, on Team CW's Welly Walk, they went on an Autumn hunt! The children were all very excited to see what they could find and to talk about the changes they could see happening in the environment around them.

The children discussed the colours that they could see, the shape of the leaves they had found, how they felt and also learnt to identify some unfamiliar things! The children hadn't heard of sweet chestnut and found lots of them. They were very spikey and had to be careful when picking them up.

The children brought some of their finds back to the classroom so they could investigate them further. Here they are having lots of fun and showing what they had found!
