On Wednesday, Team EO learnt about Saint George’s Day!
They know Saint George’s Day is celebrated on the 23rd April and that Saint George live hundreds of years ago. They know he was a significant individual and a soldier who protected people and tried to do good things. They learnt that the best-known story about Saint George is about him saving a person from a dragon! They have been using templates to create their own Saint George's flag and they have been developing their fine motor skills colouring in images related to Saint George!

Wow - what an amazing half-term Team EO have had learning all about different types of animals!
They add learning each week to their learning journey display and then at the end of the half-term it is taken down and transferred into their learning journey book which is kept in the reading area for children to look back on their previous learning! This helps children to understand chronology and how time passes and things change. |
