Team AC

In Team AC we have started to look at 'life in the past' as part of our history work. We thought of what we have learnt before about life in the past and anything we would like to learn about this term. We introduced the word 'significant' and thought about what the word means - we have used this to introduce the idea of significant people in history who have been remembered for what they have achieved.
Team AC thought about any famous people they knew and talked about why they were famous. We decided we could find out about people from the past using the internet, books, photos and drawings and also by asking people. The first person we have studied is Florence Nightingale - we have watched videos about her life and read a book to find information. We really enjoyed thinking of questions to ask and drawing pictures of her.
