We recently held an assembly to talk all things Maths.

The children in Key Stage 2 have been amazing since returning to school in September. Each day they have completed a timestable challenge in the classroom, improving their speed and developing their learning and understanding about timestables. 
Not only have the children being doing this task each day at school, but they have also taken a timestable challenge to complete at home. It has been lovely to hear the children's excitement at quickening their pace as well as succeeding in timestables facts they may have found tricky before.
Well done to each and everyone of you.

A letter has been sent home with your child's login details for Numbots (KS1) and for TTRS (Years 2-6), for them to continue practising at home. Each week there is a certificate for children who have achieved success as well as a half-termly certificate for children who have made the most progress. In addition, we also have Teams of the Week, for those classes in KS1 and Ks2 who have achieved the highest number of players and points.

Wow! Team AC have had an amazing start to Year 1. They have been so busy in all aspects of their learning, including maths. Since coming back to school in September, the children have been learning all about counting from 0-10, forwards and back! They have also been learning about 1 more and 1 less from a given number. Phew, such busy days. Keep up the hard work Team AC!
