Maths in Team CB

In Maths, Team CB have been exploring measure as our focus. We have looked at what we understand measure to be and then focused more specifically on measurement using a meter ruler. We discussed when it would and would not be appropriate to use this type of ruler and spent time outside and in the classroom measuring various objects, ensuring our ruler was at 0 and we could accurately read off the ruler to measure correctly. To extend our understanding, we then looked at how many cm in 1 m and converted between the two. We will be continuing with this when we return after half term.
