In our Maths we have recapped prior learning of addition and subtraction. Specifically, we have been looking at adding 3 addends together. To do this we have considered adding through doubles. We have discussed that addition is commutative and can be done in any order but that looking for doubles and adding these together can help us reach an answer quicker and with greater accuracy. Next week we will explore finding number pairs to 10 to support addition and then using the most appropiate strategy to solve problems for addition and subtraction.
