Team CH - Counting to 100 in different ways

We have loved being up an active in our counting! Practicing ordinal counting each day has really helped us in becoming familiar with the flow, sound and sequence of numbers
​Using one hundred squares we have become familiar in counting forwards and backwards from any number between 1 and 100. Each time we practice counting with an ordinal purpose we become more confident in recognising number position.
As well as practicing our ordinal counting skills we have been counting for a cardinal purpose. We really enjoyed discovering how many of somethings are in the tray and writing the digits to represent that number.   ​
