Team JF Maths

This week Team JF continued their learning of tens and ones. We started by recapping our prior knowledge of this and grouping larger amounts into tens and then counting the remaining ones. From this we moved into representing these using Base 10. We first discussed the value of the resources and began counting. As our learning progressed with then began using the part whole models to help us determine the number we had made. The children were then given a range of values such as 3 tens and 6 ones to make using the resource s and identify the number they had.
