PE in Team CB WC 11.11.24

During PE sessions this week, Team CB have been continuing to work on their new topics in Dance and Games. In Dance, their theme for this half term is Toys. They have started to embody different toys to help us consider the different ways they move.  This week our focus was to explore how to be a robot. The children were great at considering the way they needed to create straight lines and stiff movements to replicate the toy. The children created short dance phrases once they had considered a variety of movements.

In their Games session, the children have been working on kicking skills; underarm and overarm throwing; sending and receiving a ball and a range of striking and gathering skills. Over the coming weeks they will have the opportunity to apply striking and gathering skills into small sided games.​
