Team CB update

In PE Team CB have begun their new units for the half term in Dance and Games. The focus for Dance this half term is all around creating movements linked to animals. The class began their first session by listening to Carnival of the Animals and imagining what animals they could hear through the sounds and rhythm of the music. From this, they then explored the elephant where the pupils worked in pairs to create a short dance phrase linked to it. They thought carefully about the speed and weight of movements linked to the elephant, as well as how it eats, and other parts of it's body that may move. Next week the class will become lions!
