One life CW

The Rainbows learning this half term is about "Self Awareness." We have continued to learn the song "Good to be me!"

The objectives this week were to know;
How we all have positive and negative thoughts
If we use our inner cheerleader, we can listen to the positive ones more!
That we are not our thoughts and feelings.

We began by recapping the previous stories I Am Enough and A Little Light. Rainbows know that if they are self aware, they can stop the big emotions taking over. They know that we all have positive thoughts and unhelpful thoughts.  We can call these our inner cheerleader and inner critic. They drew a picture of what they think their inner cheer leader may look like and talked about all the positive things it might say to them.
