PSHE in Team CB

Our focus for One Life this half term is compassion. This week we have looked specifically at what compassion is and that we must practice this as it can help us mentally, emotionally and physically. We shared the story, Have you filled a bucket today? by Carol McCloud to help us understand how we could show compassion to others. Through understanding that everyone has a bucket which is filled with good thoughts and feelings it helped us recognise what happens if our bucket is empty - we feel sad and lonely. We shared ways we could fill up other people's buckets to ensure this does not happen. As a class we shared compassionate phrases we may say to one another in tricky times.
