PSHE in Team CH

Today the children read the story My Body Is an Amazing Body. After the story, they led a thoughtful group discussion about the different ways we can look after our amazing bodies. Together, the children shared ideas such as exercising, spending time outdoors, listening to how our bodies feel, and making healthy choices.
The children also explored the idea that bodies come in all shapes and sizes — tall bodies, short bodies, thin bodies, and wide bodies — and that every body is amazing.
To finish, the children created a colourful poster filled with facts about their own amazing bodies and the ways they can care for them. This helped reinforce a positive understanding of self-care, body awareness, and respect for differences.
