​"Year 6 has been learning and performing Christian hymns this week! We’ve explored the meanings behind the lyrics and how these hymns are used in worship to express faith and praise. Through practicing together, we’ve improved our singing skills and deepened our understanding of the messages of hope, love, and worship in the Christian tradition. It’s been a wonderful experience, and we’ve enjoyed sharing these hymns with each other!"

• Retelling Bible Stories: We’ve been practicing oracy skills by retelling key Bible stories, like the paralyzed man, Jesus calming the storm, Isaac and the test, and the story of Jacob. This helps us improve our speaking and listening while deepening our understanding of faith.
  
• Virtual Church Tour: We took a virtual tour of a Christian church, exploring important features like the altar and stained glass windows, and learning about their significance in Christian worship.
  

These activities are helping us grow in our understanding of Christian teachings while developing our communication skills!

​"Team CB has been exploring different Christian celebrations during our RE session this week. We specifically focused on Palm Sunday and Good Friday, learning about the significance of each event in the Christian faith. We discussed how Palm Sunday marks Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem and how Good Friday commemorates His crucifixion. To help us understand the tradition, we created palm crosses, just like some Christians do to mark Palm Sunday. It was a meaningful and hands-on way to connect with these important events!"
