Y6 RE Update

We have learnt about why some books are special. W have explored the books of the old and the new testament and why the bible is so special to Christians. we have explored a range of bible stories and the messages to be learnt from them. Building on from our learning about invaders and settlers in Y4 we explored the Lindisfarne gospels and the importance to early Christians. We have also revisited Hinduism and as well as learning about Diwali we have compared aspects of Hinduism with Christianity. We have been exploring the importance of significant people of faith such as Martin Luther King.
