Spring 2 - Team AC

In reading Team AC children have continued their learning in the Read Write Inc. programme, building on the strong foundations from the Autumn term. Most children now know all their set 1,2 and 3 sounds and have been using these to read and write words more confidently. The children have also been developing their blending skills to read green words and sentences with increasing fluency. They have been learning to recognise and read red words by sight. Through daily phonics sessions and Talk through stories,  the children have continued to grow in confidence as readers and writers.
