This half term we have been trying to learn Twinkle Twinkle (a Christmas version) as part of our music learning. Here is OH playing so sweetly!

Here are some of the things we have done this week: Literacy - completed letters for the world telling people about the dangers of plastic waste. Maths - started work on multiplication as arrays and lots of a number. SO far we have looked at doubles and the 2x table. French - body parts. We even labelled each other! Crafting - we made Christmas crackers with the intention of writing the instructions how we made them in the final week. It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in team AC!!

Literacy - work on different sentence types (commands, statements, questions and exclamations).
Maths - problems involving addition and subtraction so we can practice using the written methods we have learnt.
PE and wellbeing - the importance of sleep to our body and how we can make sure that we get enough sleep.
Music - using the xylophone to play a Christmas version of twinkle twinkle little star. We also looked at how we can use the stave (music lines) to write down our notes.
This week we have also completed some assessments.
