As part of our plants and animals topic we will be learning about different types of animals. This week we have been learning about reptiles. We had a visit from Raymond the Bearded Dragon to help us find out a little more.
We all got to hold Raymond. She was very cold. This is because reptiles are cold blooded. We also felt her dry, rough, scaly skin.
We found out about what Raymond eats. Raymond is an omnivore. This means that she eats both plants and animals. One of Raymond's favourite foods is live locusts. Some of us were brave enough to feed her!
Hello, I'm Mr Fidment. I have only recently joined the Park Street team in September and I am the class teacher in Team AF (Year 1). I have had an amazing time starting my first year of teaching and cannot wait for the year to continue! Although I enjoy teaching all areas of the curriculum, I have a passion for teaching phonics. When I am not in school I enjoy spending time with my friends and looking after a couple of pets I have.
