This week we have been learning about acrostic poems. To support our learning we tasted different fruits. We even tasted lemons! We used these to write adjectives to describe what we though of the different fruit. We even learnt a new word - repulsive. We then used these adjectives to create our own acrostic poems.
During our Maths learning, we have been learning about subtraction. To support our learning we used a Maths story (First, I had _ sweets. Then Mr Fidment took_ away. Now I have _ sweets). We were also really lucky this week as Miss Garratt came from Year 5 to help us learn how subtraction works. We have been applying our new found skill to word problems.
