Team CB Blog
The beautiful thing about learning is that it has no parameters. Everyone can teach someone something they did not know.
In what has been another incredibly busy week, Team CB have been busy taking on new learning challenges. This week, the class have been hard at work solving worded problems related to the four operations and with some great success. The class solved a range of 1, 2 and even 3 step problems! WOW! As individuals, we had to think carefully about the key information in the question and what operation we would need to use as a result. The class then carried out the procedure and checked using the inverse.
In Literacy, we have had some rather shocking news. We imagined that Tim Peake never returned from his Space Mission, but instead was sucked into a black hole and transported to an alternate, undiscovered planet! To create a truly gripping story, we have been busy reading WAGOLL'S and then planning our own storyline. I must say, I can not wait to read them they sound fantastic already!
As we continue with our RE this week, we have been busy exploring the Sikh holy place of worship and the different features of a Gurdwara. The class were so engaged in their learning and had so many questions around the topic! It was lovely to see.
Our egg experiment also concluded this week, where we had been busy testing which liquid would be most harmful to teeth. The results of our investigation showed that it was in fact Vinegar!
