Team CB Blog
The beautiful thing about learning is that it has no parameters. Everyone can teach someone something they did not know.
What a week it has been!
This week saw Team CB start our new Literacy unit all around Norse Myths. The class are so eager to sink their teeth into another superb piece of writing, especially after our trip to Jorvik got our taste buds tingling for more! With that in mind, after introducing our new topic, the class were in charge of using digital media to hunt for answers to key questions about Norse Myths and their existence. We read different myth examples and used this to inform our Success Criteria for writing. Then… THE SNOW HIT!
Likewise, in Maths we had an exciting new unit on Fractions! The class were total professionals when it came to understanding what fractions were and representing them in different ways! They worked incredibly hard and set off on the right foot with their awareness, understanding and engagement in our new area of learning. Well done Team CB!
But as mentioned above, then the snow hit! From Tuesday night we have had an ongoing flurry of snow that has caused the school to close for the safety of pupils. While I am so looking forward to seeing Team CB soon, I hope you are all staying safe and warm indoors until this weather begins to thaw! See you all soon!
