Team CB Blog
The beautiful thing about learning is that it has no parameters. Everyone can teach someone something they did not know.
I can't quite believe that as I write this there is only one teaching week left of Spring term, where on Earth has time gone?
This week, we have been keen to delve deeper in our learning. In Maths, we have explored, adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator, as well as finding unit and non-unit fractions of amounts. Complicated stuff right? Well according to our Year 4's they have loved it! One member of our class told me this week 'never did I think I would be able to do fractions'. Well they most certainly can and it is testament to the hard work and commitment they put into their learning!
In Literacy, we have had our author hat on this week as we have spent time compiling ideas and writing our own Norse Myth. The quality of the writing is incredible! Every single member of Team CB has something to be proud of as their writing is really growing in clarity, content and overall amazingness! Well done Evolutionary Astronauts!
Our topic work this week has been centered around using our Design and Technology skills. We have been busy researching, designing and creating our Viking shields. The attention to detail is quite remarkable. Make sure you check back with us next week as we are going to use these as part of our Viking Day.
Just a gentle reminder Viking Day is 22nd March 2018.
