Team CB Blog
The beautiful thing about learning is that it has no parameters. Everyone can teach someone something they did not know.
As the first spring term draws to a close, the children are as busy as ever with their learning. This week we have worked hard to develop our understanding of spelling, punctuation and grammar concepts and it appears we have homophone heroes in our class as there is very little they can't now tell you about which words to use in which context!
Elsewhere, in Maths we have continued our unit on time, progressing to reading and writing the time in digital form and converting between digital and analogue form. The class are growing in confidence and it is lovely to hear them so keen to tell me what time it is throughout the day!
With that said, the class have also been very busy doing important projects this week. As part of our Science unit, the class have been identifying changes that humans have made to the local environment and the impact this has on plants and animals. The class were then challenged to consider ways in which they could help prevent such dangers to living things.
In Art, we have been busy using our knowledge of an Anglo Saxon village to recreate a scaled model. The class have each taken onboard an element from the village and used modelling resources to create their element. I can't wait to see the finished product! Well done Team CB!
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful half term and look forward to seeing you in a weeks time.
