Team CB Blog
The beautiful thing about learning is that it has no parameters. Everyone can teach someone something they did not know.
Where has time gone? I can't quite believe that we are half way through this half term! As this week celebrates the Tour de Yorkshire, I thought it appropriate to give you a whistle stop tour of our learning this week.
In Maths, we have been busy consolidating our learning on fractions and decimals. This has been topic that has stretched and challenged the class but I am thrilled to say they have ALWAYS performed to their best and shown commitment at every turn! The class were able to see the progress they have made and each child was able to positively identify three aspects of learning they now feel more secure in from this unit. Well done Team CB!
Our literacy work has seen us draft, edit, up level and publish our letters to Tim Peake. You will be please to know they are now sat on my desk ready to be popped in an envelope and posted. Fingers crossed we get a response!
In Science this week, we have taken on the challenge of exploring tooth decay. As a class we have created our own scientific enquiry into which liquids cause most damage to our teeth. The class were incredibly excited and have been so eager to check the tubs! Check out our images below to see what we have been up to. We will be checking these over the coming days to see how over time the condition of our teeth deteriorates with certain liquids.
As you all enjoy the Tour de Yorkshire this evening, I look forward to seeing the Evolutionary Astronauts on Tuesday where we will face new challenges with our fantastic attitude to learning!
