This week in class we have been thinking and learning about what makes a good friend. We have read stories about friendship such as 'Rainbow Fish' and we have all contributed to our class rules. To create our class rules we thought carefully about what would keep us safe and what would make our classroom a happy place to be.
The children enjoyed creating a picture of themselves which we have put up on our 'friendship tree' to show that we are all friends in Team EO. Children have been using celery to print scales onto fish using paint. A weekly diary will be added to Seesaw which will tell you more about our learning activities for the week.

This week we read the story 'Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs Go To School' to help us understand how different children might be feeling about starting school. We held several circle time sessions, where we spoke about rules for circle time, introduced ourselves to all our new friends and each said what we like. Children have spent time exploring and becoming familiar with our indoor and outdoor learning environments. |
