​Yesterday, the new children of Team CH came together for our transition day. As a school, we started with an assembly to share the text 'The Planet in a Pickle Jar', which had a focus of building relationships and connections. From this, we returned to the classroom to start our exciting day! In the morning, we introduced ourselves and shared our learning for next year. Then, we decided our new class rules and created our 'helping hands' for our door display.  After lunch, we designed our own pickle jar artwork, filling them with the things we enjoy! We ended the day by reading the story the children had previously voted for “The Gruffalos child.” It was a lovely day and the children were amazing! Roll on September!
