This week the class have been working incredibly hard on their maths skills. We have now completed our unit of place value and roman numerals and the class have shown that they have some excellent understanding around the learning they have done. Keep an eye out for our maths next week as we will be moving on to a new topic of addition using formal written methods.
Elsewhere, in our Literacy we have been busy completing our published writing of our own traditional tale. The class were so eager to share these and did brilliantly well in working hard to implement our new handwriting policy. We have several pieces now up on display in our Handwriting Heroes section of the classroom - well done Team CB you should be so proud of your hard work. Meanwhile, we have been busy working hard in other areas of the Curriculum this week. We have been showing plenty of progress in ukulele with the confidence we now have in playing different chords and beginning to create songs. In our Art work, we have used our watercolour artwork of different European landmarks, to inspire the 3D models we have started to build. The class have shown excellent enthusiasm for this project and I cannot wait to see the end result. Pop back next week to see what else we have been up to.
