Maths
We are in full flow with our tables races this week - week 2 already! The children's scores are improving on a daily basis and we are so proud. In our Place Value unit we have continued to work on reading and writing numbers, and comparing and ordering numbers up to 1000. Literacy We are currently working on 'Scare at Shadow Fair', a Twinkl Original, focussing on vocabulary and retrieval skills. In our writing lessons, we have been working on the individual features of ghost stories, including fronted adverbials and expanded noun phrases, in preparation for using these within our own writing.

Hello and welcome to the Team JD blog page. I would like to say a huge welcome back to the children of Team JD and their families.
It's been one very busy week, finding out wonderful things about each other and developing new relationships. During this week we have: Created our class vision Decided on our class rules (displayed on classroom door) Participated in some maths and literacy activities Created some pieces of mindfulness art work It's been a very busy but enjoyable week meeting the new members of our class. We have some very exciting plans for this half term so make sure you keep checking out our blog to see what we're up to. |
