It has been lovely this week to bob around classes and see what lovely work the children are producing in their writing lessons. Their was a calm, focussed atmosphere throughout and all children could talk confidently about what they were writing, who it was for and why they were writing it. Well done team Park Street! I am certain when I pop back round in a few weeks, the work you will have produced will be of an excellent standard! Keep it up superstars!

Firstly, I would like to wish you all a warm welcome back to a new academic year and hope you have all had a restful holidays. As with the start of any new academic year comes fresh writing opportunities for our children to engage with.
This year, we have further refined our writing offer to children through whole class text drivers which they will use to support their writing. In Autumn 1 our classes will study their class acclaimed author, reading books from their collection and inspiring their written work. Below are the key authors being covered this half term, which we are certain will lead to some fantastic quality writing!
