Autumn 1 in Team AF and LL

The half term, the Year 6 Teams (Team AF and Team LL) have been working hard to improve their knowledge of SPaG. They have been learning how to correctly use complex expanded noun phrases, similes, metaphors, personification and consolidating their knowledge of word classes. Their writing has been closely linked to the current book they are reading – Alex Rider: Stormbreaker. As part of this, they have created a descriptive piece of writing where the children have described ‘Dozmary Mine’. The children have done a fantastic job of allowing the reader to feel the way Alex did by using a wide range of descriptive techniques.
