Autumn 1 in Team CH

This half term, Team CH have been working really hard to develop their skills in writing. We have spent time completing work linked to our “Acclaimed Author” Julia Donaldson. We explored different settings that Julia Donaldson has created and continued to develop our use of punctuation. We have explored connecting two independent clauses with and, as well as beginning to explore what adjectives and nouns are and how these can add detail to our writing. We have also focussed on poetry and have created our own free verse poems linked to what makes us special.
