Meet The Team

Mrs Firth
Class Teacher
Hello and welcome to our class page. I am Mrs Firth, Team LF Class Teacher, as well as Maths, Computing and Online Safety Lead. I am very excited to be working with a fantastic group of children. I have a passion for teaching  maths but I love to bring new and fresh ideas to the classroom in all subject areas. When I’m not at school I love to spend my time with my two little boys. I also enjoy reading, swimming and being amongst friends.

Mrs Clarke

Class Teaching Assistant
Hi my name is Mrs Clarke. I have lots of experience working with all year groups throughout school. This year, I have the pleasure of supporting our children in Team LF. I am looking forward to seeing how much they are going to achieve this academic year. In my spare time, you'll usually find me in the gym, out walking or socialising with friends. ​

Mrs Greenhalgh

​Hi I've worked at Park Street a great number of years now and I still get that buzz when working with staff and children each and every day. I love that I work across different year groups as it means I get to support lots of children within our school. In my spare time I love gardening, reading a good book and catching up with friends.

Thursday- Spelling homework due
Friday - Homework due, new homework/spellings distributed 

Please note that Team LF has set PE days. However, occasionally due to busy timetables and changes in weather conditions, these times may be flexible. We politely request that PE kits are brought to school on a Monday and taken home for washing on a Friday.

What we learn about in Team LF?

In Team LF we aim to have lots of fun and show great enthusiasm in everything we do. Throughout the year we focus on three integrated curriculum topics which cover Geography, History and Science. To support our learning with the National Curriculum, each term we will be investigating a different enquiry based question.

Autumn Term: Whitby and Wombwell
Spring Term: WW1 and the Ancient Greeks
Summer Term: Habitats and Lifecycles
