In our Maths learning this week we are learning to name and talk about 2D shapes so we have a new resource out in our classroom- tap-a-shape. The children have loved using the hammers and pins to tap the shapes into the board and make pictures. As well as all the talk about shapes, this is great for our fine motor skills as the pins are only tiny and we have to hammer them through the tiny holes in the shapes. This was a very popular activity and one I am sure we will have out again in a few weeks time! Look how hard we are concentrating in these photos!
