Over the past couple of weeks, we have centred our learning around the book 'Esio Trot'. After reading the book, we decided to write our own versions from Alfie's (the tortoise) perspective. In order to this we began skill building. We started by exploring features of a story to identify the keys parts we need to include. From this, we focused on setting descriptions and character description in preparation for our own writing. Finally, we started our own story mountains to plan our settings, build up, problem, resolution and ending.
