As part of our new science topic we looked at the different types of skeletons living things can have. Endoskeletons: a backbone and frame on the inside that grows with the animal. Exoskeleton: a protective armour on the outside of the body that is shed and regrown when the animal outgrows it. Hydrostatic-skeleton: no hard skeleton or shell. We organised x-rays into the three categories and made our own fact sheets.
