Wombwell Park Street Primary School is committed to ensuring the safety of our children both in the real world and online. We appreciate that, as 'Digital Natives' our children often have a greater understanding of the technology they are using than the adults around them but they do not always see the same risks and dangers. We are happy to support parents in keeping their children safe online and making the most productive use of what is an amazing resource. We hope that parents will attend school information sessions around Online Safety and feel comfortable to come and ask for any individual support required.
Our Online Safety Co-ordinators are Mr A Fidment, Mrs L Firth and Mrs C Lawson (Headteacher) and our Governor with responsibility for Online Safety is Mr Richard Vincent, Parent Governor. |
