RECEPTION/YEAR 1 - Team EO
Transitional Information

Transition is the process by which children enter our school, move from year group to year group and finally leave us and move on to secondary school. Whether children are starting school for the first time or moving  classes within the same school, parents and children may have concerns and worries. Those worries are often about the unknown and effective transition will ensure you have ample opportunity to ask questions and prepare for the changes ahead. When transition is done well, children will retain their self-confidence, self-esteem and continue to make good progress. Parents will also feel well informed and able to support their child’s development at home. We aim to provide as much information as possible to make the transition smooth for our children and parents!
