What do our parents say about
Wombwell Park Street Primary School?

Each year we ask parents to complete two 'Parental Questionnaires', which gives them the opportunity to provide us with their thoughts and feelings on a range of questions, which cover:
  • whether their child feels happy and safe in school
  • whether their child enjoys learning and the different opportunities available to them
  • whether they feel the behaviour of children at Park Street is managed well
  • whether they feel their child is progressing well
  • whether they feel welcomed in to school as parents and whether they are provided with good detail about their child's learning and much more, as well as many other aspects!
We complete these bi-annual questionnaires in the autumn term towards the beginning of the school's academic year and then again at the end of the spring term.  We ask parents to complete these using a Microsoft Forms links, so as they are easy to fill in and do not take too much time.  The results of which are analysed and sent out to parents for their information.  This feedback includes what the school feels it is doing well with, what areas parents have suggested may need improvement and then also the actions the school are going to take to further their school improvement journey.

Our last parental questionnaires and the outcomes can be found below - spring 2022, autumn 2022 and soon our spring 2023 analysis will be on there too!  The questionnaires can be completed anonymously, but we do ask that if willing, parents give us their child's name, so as we can follow up on any specific issues, relating to your child.

We are always very grateful for any parental feedback and welcome this on a daily basis - knowing what you think helps us improve!

End of Year Records of Achievement

At the end of every academic year, we provide parents with a 'Record of Achievement' which celebrates the learning, progress and effort of their child throughout the year.  They inform parents of what they have learnt about and can do well and what their next targets are.  They also identify information for parents regarding their child's current attainment and progress that year.  We always include a 'Parental Comment Slip'.  Here are a selection of comments that parents have written regarding their child's enjoyment of school life!
