MEET THE TEAM

Mrs Clayton

Picture
Hi there, I am Mrs Clayton I am a teaching assistant and cover supervisor in Year 6. I love working with the oldest children in school. I particularly love getting my teeth into some of the challenging daily maths puzzles and quizes. Team LL are an enthusiastic and hard working bunch who I am sure will have a very successful final year at Park Street.

Mrs Longden

Hello, I am Mrs Longden, the teacher of Year 6 and Deputy Headteacher.
I have the great pleasure of teaching the oldest children in our school and preparing them for the next phase in their lives, at High School. I have a passion for the arts and lead on the creative curriculum in school. I love to read, travel and spend time with my family. Team LL are an oustanding group who work hard and want to make the most of every opportunity that school has to offer.

Mrs Hinds

Hi there, my name is Mrs Hinds and I am lucky enough to be a teaching assistant in Year 6. The best thing about my job is the variety of challenging, exciting and  fun learning activities I get to engage in with the children everyday. Team LL are a very creative bunch who come up with fabulous ideas to keep us grown ups on our toes.

What do we learn about in Team LL?

Whilst learning we aim to have as much fun as possible. We have three integrated curriculum projects over the year - Exploring Extreme Earth - Why is the Earth So Extreme? (Geography), Life in the Past - Who were the Ancient Egyptians? ( a historical focus)  and The Science of Food - Does Chocolate Grow on Trees? (Science and Cookery) . The children are involved in planning their own project work and use ICT widely to extend their learning. An example of this is a team work project studying Christmas Around the World.
