Our unit for this half term in year 2/3 is Britain through the ages (this links in with our history topic on Britain from the stone age)
This week we learnt how to say the following 4 time periods in Spanish Stone age - lie dat de pee - ed - ra Bronze age - li dat de bron-say Iron age - lie dat de hair-oy Roman Empire - lay em-peer-i-ow row-marn-o Can you have a go at home at saying some of the phrases we have learnt in class? * Please note the Spanish phrases above are spelled how we say them rather than in actual Spanish. In Autumn Term 1 our Key Stage 1 Children will be learning the following Spanish phrases and vocabulary if you should wish to practice at home:
