As we were snowed off Thursday and Friday last week this will be the last two weeks learning:
Maths - assessment practice, 4 times tables, fractions and knowing how to apply this to both numbers and shapes. Last weeks focus quarters this weeks recapping quarters and learning thirds. I.C.T - using the beebots, programming and creating commands to move the beebot around the map. Key vocabulary: sequence, order, algorithm and commands. P.E - Tuesdays: Hockey, learning how to dribble and pass, lots of partner practice work. Thursdays: cheerleading, learning individual moves, putting moves into a sequence to perform a cheerleading routine. Literacy - Creative writing, expanding noun phrases. Introducing new vocabulary and learning the meaning of the words. Creating sentences using our new vocabulary. Reading a new book 'A planet full of plastic.' Geography - looking at the physical and human features of Brazil. Science - setting up experiments overtime, watch this space.... Art - Making cards for special people. International Women's Day - researching and writing about influential women throughout the ages. Celebrating women and understanding they can achieve the same as men and the fight for equal rights. Red Nose Day - Celebrating and raising money to support Red Nose Day.
