Little Red Riding Hood

This week we have based our learning around the story of Little Red Riding Hood. 
We have acted out the story in the role play area and with our wolf puppet. We wrote an apology to Grandma from the wolf for his bad behaviour and have thought about words to describe the characters in the story.

In numeracy this week we moved on to number 10 and have counted, compared and ordered with this number.
We made a shopping list for Granny based on the maths story My Granny went to Market.

In out classroom provision we have made traps for the wolf using straws as well as a maze for the characters from the story to walk through. We have painted the wolf and followed instructions to make flowers for Granny from Little Red Riding Hood.
