Minibeasts

Over the past 2 weeks the Pandas have been learning about Minibeasts. We have listened to stories about Minibeasts; such as the Bad Tempered Ladybird, Norman the slug with a Shell, The Very Busy Spider and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
We have learned about doubles by doubling the spots on ladybirds and symmetry, where we have made symmetrical paintings. We have sorted minibeasts by the number of legs and created all sorts of different hanging minibeast decorations for or classroom window.
We have started going on Welly Walks and the children have really enjoyed the opportunity to explore and  see what minibeasts they can find.
